David Fischer I blame nobody but myself for listening to this album only now (Dec '21), and I doubt that I shall ever find forgiveness. Topheth catapulted itself to the upper echelon of my black metal list very quickly, dwarfing almost every release I have heard in the past months in terms of abrasiveness, cohesion and sheer malice. The legions of hell may rise and devour this planet any moment, as Topheth is an adequately apocalyptic soundtrack for this happening. Just hope my physical copy arrives in time. Favorite track: Elevated to Him.
